Great place to go for Conch.Try the conch ceviche appetizer, Jerk Chicken wrap or one of the other many menu items! One of best views the Caribbean has to offer. This site offers great shore diving and snorkeling. Sundivers dive shop, at the Cracked Conch, is located on property.
Best lionfish tacos anywhere! Make a reservation because there is limited seating. The restaurant is located above the Ocean Frontiers dive shop at the Compass Point Resort. If driving out to the remote east end where the restaurant is located at night, be on the lookout for coconut crabs in the road. Try to go around them if possible. Check out their live webcam if you can.
This is a Farm to Table restaurant and is a little on the expensive side, but the sunset views are amazing! Very romantic setting, but also good for families. Very extensive wine list and knowledgeable staff. Ask for a waterside table when making a reservation. They also do weddings on site as well.
Amazing Caribbean and American food with an outdoor brick pizza oven on site! One of the most beautiful beaches on Grand Cayman. Try the Coconut Curry Fish, it’s so good! Every Tuesday night is their Beach BBQ Buffet serving local food, make a reservation. Takes a little while to get your bill, so go with an open mind and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the ambiance. If staying near Seven Mile Beach, take the water taxi straight to Kaibo. They have a special schedule for that night and a package price for water taxi and bbq.
Great place to grab a snack or full meal. Lots of variety on the menu and great service. Located on the water, next to Eden Dive Center, you can watch the divers coming in and out of the water. Location is perfect to take a break while shopping.
One of the best burgers on the island!!! Great service and yummy food. Good size portions, so go hungry! Restaurant is located right next to the pool. Order the Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls appetizer, it’s so good.
Australian food with a Caribbean twist. One of my top 3 favorite meals I’ve ever eaten! I would recommend the Cayman Conch Chowder and the Ginger Mahi Mahi. Get there before sunset and enjoy the most spectacular view of the sea. If you’re lucky enough to go on a full moon, get there early and watch the full moon rise. Around 5:30pm everyday you can witness the feeding of the frigate birds, you can maybe even feed them yourself. Don’t forget to bring your camera though! You can easily make a reservation on their website and I would recommend that.
(East end, close to Windham resort)
